Terms and Conditions

• Cancellation Policy: All cancelations must be within 14 days of booking for a refund. Full refund if booking date is at least 14 days away. For cancelations made with 7-14 days of booking date there will be a 50% refund. For cancelations inside of 7 days there will be no refund. 
• Please note we will charge the balance on your saved card 7 days from your reservation start. By accepting these rules that will allow us to charge your card for the full balance 7 days out. 
• Renters must follow the NYS navigation law and Indian Lake laws.
• The rental boat's weight limit and passenger capacity must be followed. Overloading is hazardous and may cause damage or capsizing.
• The rental period is for 8 hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
• If renting the boat for multiple days and overnight the renter is responsible for securing boat at campsite or dock location and is liable for any damage caused if not properly secured or anchored at location
• Damage caused by camping equipment or overloading of boat will be at the sole responsibility of renter and will be charged at parts plus hourly labor
• Pets are allowed on rental boats, and there is no additional pet fee. However, renters will be charged for any damage or excessive dirtiness caused by their pets.
• All firewood must be bagged on rental boats, and there are no exceptions.
• Fuel is not included in the rental price. Rentals leave with a full tank and renters are responsible for filling up and paying for fuel upon return.
• Operating the rental boat under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited.
• Children under 12 years old are required to wear a Personal Flotation Device at all times.
• Operating the rental boat after dusk is strictly prohibited.
• Indian Lake Marina does not provide insurance and renters will be liable for damage
• Renters are responsible for any loss of or damage to property, or injury to persons resulting from the use, operation, or possession of the rental boat. Renters must also hold Indian Lake Marina harmless for any loss or damage to personal property carried in or on the rental boat.
• Renters must provide a valid US driver's license.
• No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions or early return of the rental boat.
• Late charges will be assessed on all late rental returns and will be calculated based on the hourly rental rate and charged in 15-minute increments.
• If the propeller is returned damaged, renters will be responsible for the retail price of a new propeller plus labor. Propellers cost $150.
• If the rental boat is returned excessively dirty, renters will be responsible for paying the cleaning fee, billed at a rate of $110 per hour.
• If mechanical problems are suspected, renters must stop the rental boat immediately and seek a dock, mooring, or anchorage. Further operation after a mechanical malfunction can result in major damage and/or injury. The renter is responsible for any additional damage caused by the operation of the rental boat after a malfunction occurs.
• All firewood must be bagged on rental boats, and there are no exceptions.
• Per NYS Law you are required to watch a boaters safety video before renting or operating the rental boat. By moving forward with this booking you are agreeing to watch this video. The video link will be contained in your confirmation email.
